關於門陶

  • 專注於手捏陶藝，由林溫文化服務公司的兩位創始人之一 Fanny 主持
  • 陶室的中文名源起馬太福音7章7節的 *門* ：「你們祈求，就給你們；尋找，就尋見；叩門，就給你們開 *門* 。(馬太福音 7:7)
  • 陶室英文名ASK CERAMICS, 也源起於馬太福音7：7      *Ask* , and it will be given to you; *seek* , and you will find; *knock* , and it will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7)。三個英文動詞是第一個字組成了 *ASK*, 直譯是 *問*、學問、懂問、是入陶門作泥人的鑰匙呢！
  • 中英文名聯繫了ASK and DOOR opened 的因果關係，即 ASK (基礎學習技能)，然後DOOR opened — 向外的陶藝世界之旅和向內的上帝賜予地上的每一個人豐富的恩賜之旅。

About ASK CERAMICS

  • Focuses on hand-building ceramics, classes and workshops being delivered by Fanny, one of the two founders of L&W Cultural Services Company 
  • ASK, originating from Matthew 7:7, is used to spotlight two actions and their causal relationship, i.e. ASK (foundational learning skill) and then the DOOR (outward journey into the ceramics world and inward journey into the gifts repertoire God has richly given to each and everyone on this earth) opened.

  • *Ask* , and it will be given to you; *seek* , and you will find; *knock* , and it will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7)  

關於Fanny

  • 80年代大學畢業後學習了四年陶藝，並於2020年底退休幾個月後再次學習陶藝；
  • 經歷四年的行動研究，上帝帶領Fanny 看到了祂對她的退休新計劃，即經營手捏陶藝的業務。現在她按不同群體的需要提供不同陶班、詳情請看「課程」。

About Fanny

  • She learned ceramics for four years after her university graduation in the 80s, and taking it up again in end 2020, a few months after her retirement; 

  • – Since end 2020, she has been action-researching into the operation of hand-building ceramics business, and been confirmed to do so by the Lord. Now she provides a variety of classes according to the needs of different groups (for details, please read “Classes”).

我的故事

為甚麼鍾情於手捏陶藝？

  • 「人鬼情未了」瘋魔全球的年代，門陶的始創人Fanny 跟了劉偉基老師學陶藝(拉坯)近四年，但因工作地區轉了在離島，她便暫時放低學習，沒想過一放低就變成完全的放低，直至2020年！

  •  Fanny 沒想過退休後會再弄陶，因自己也認為真有興趣的嗜好，不會話放低就完全放低吧？！

  • 2020年退休了！但因著九月及十月兩次在異象中看到自己拉坯，Fanny 於是重新開始學習陶藝，要看看是否祂要帶她走一條不一樣的退休路！

  • 重新起步！找工作室及老師指導學習：2020年11月至2024年底已跟多位老師學陶藝的不同學問，如設計自家釉方、操作电窯、拉坯、手捏陶器、繪廣彩及港彩、以釉下彩及釉上彩做作品及學習不同的技巧及燒制方法做作品！

  • 過程中、Fanny 發現自己強烈傾向用手捏方法表達自己的創作意念及情感，於是放低拉坯，專心一意走這易學難精的路，並於2021年中開始開班，及於2023年中正式設立陶室。

  • Fanny 更發現原來手捏陶藝可成為：

    更深認識創造主的橋樑；

    忙碌現代人的藝術療癒空間；

    職場人邊玩泥、邊學職場工作技巧、建立團隊的方便渠道；

    協助長者及有需要的群體玩泥中，重拾自信、生命留下更多美好(作品、回憶）的平台！

    於是專注於這陶藝範疇。

MY STORY

Why just hand-building ceramics?

  • Fanny took ceramics class for 4 years in the 80s, but stopped till she retired in 2020.

  • After having seen herself wheel throwing twice in visions in September and October 2020, Fanny started learning pottery again to see if the Lord would lead her to take a different retirement path.

  • Since late 2020, Fanny has taken various ceramics classes. She finds herself strongly inclined to hand-build ceramics works, as she can express her designs creatively, authentically and freely!

  • Since mid 2021, Fanny has started planning, implementing and evaluating her hand-building ceramics classes. In mid 2023, she sets up her own studio.

  • As she finds that hand-building ceramics has the appeal and ability to serve the needy groups and different walks of life, she knows this is her new way!
